Cycle explores urban bicycling, the politics of active transportation in Canada, and asks who has a right to the city? Inspired by Ritchie’s experience as a bike food courier in Toronto and his lifelong passion for cycling; the play examines gig work culture with a focus on the financial and physical precariousness of trying to ‘make a living’ in Canada today.
