ARTISTIC LEADERSHIP

Alyson Dicey is an Edmonton based performer, writer, director, producer and graduate of the BFA Acting class of 2012 at the University of Alberta. She is a founding member of Girl Brain Sketch Comedy and is proud to write and perform with a troupe that celebrates and promotes the strength of women. Alyson is also an Associate Producer with the Indigenous-led Dora and Sterling award-winning theatre company, Punctuate! Theatre, and Volunteer Coordinator for the multidisciplinary arts festival featuring women-identifying and non-binary artists, SkirtsAFire. During the summers, Alyson can be found at the Edmonton International Fringe Festival in her role as KidsFringe Director. Alyson believes strongly in encouraging young women to take on leadership roles, set and achieve goals, and develop confidence in their voices and abilities.

Dayna Lea Hoffmann (she/her) is a biracial multidisciplinary artist, actor and theatre administrator currently based in amiskwaciwâskahikan. She is a graduate of the U of A’s BFA Acting program and holds a diploma in theatre from Douglas College. Additionally, She is a former performer, student and teacher of the Vancouver Circus School, and alumni of Canada’s National Voice Intensive. Outside of working for local Edmonton companies, Dayna performs in, tours, and produces Rat Academy, a rat-clown award-winning comedy duo, with her company Batrabbit Productions. When she is not on stage she dabbles in street performing at local Edmonton festivals as a roving juggler!

Andrew Ritchie is a director, theatre maker, and teacher born and raised on Treaty 6 territory in Amiskwaciwaskahikan (Edmonton). He has directed across Turtle Island (North America) and his work has ranged from new Canadian plays, immersive, mask, clown, theatre for young audience, western classical canon, and improvisational. He has a MFA in Directing & Creation from York University, a BA in Drama from the University of Alberta, and is a graduate of the Citadel/Banff Centre Professional Theatre program. He is a co-founder of Thou Art Here Theatre and current Artistic Director. Currently he is the Program Coordinator with Theatre Alberta and a freelance director and artist. Previously he was the Sandbox Series Coordinator & Theatre School Director at Globe Theatre in Regina, and festival director of Common Ground Arts’ Found Festival.
